COVID-19 UPDATED STATEMENT: 1st May 2020
We, at Aqua One, have stayed open for business during the COVID-19 lockdown to support our retailers that have remained open in line with Government guidelines as ‘essential retailers’ for the welfare of the nation’s pets.
To ensure social distancing, we have been operating during April with only 25% of colleagues doing vital operations to ensure a continuous supply to you, the final customer and fish keeper.
For May, we are able to increase the number of colleagues working slightly. Where possible they are working from home. This increase helps us to deal with the demand we are seeing for our product range from people who are looking for a useful way of spending their time in isolation. The project of setting up a new aquarium seems to be very popular. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this fantastic support of our brand Aqua One. It has enabled us to guarantee that all our staff, working or not will receive 100% of their salary throughout this period.
We are doing all we can to keep our staff safe whilst we, in line with government guidelines, continue to support our customers during these difficult times.
Your local aquatic store needs your support now more than ever before. All our UK retailers can take advantage of our direct home delivery service and we will ship nearly every Aqua One product on their behalf direct to your door. Please ask your favourite Aqua One dealer for details.
The health of our colleagues always has been and always will remain our utmost priority. Therefore, we are currently not able to accept collections from our warehouse, and our delivery partners are not able to enter homes or break the 2-metre social distancing rule.
